Честно скажу: купился на название первой вещи - Scratch Funk, думал, что это - джаз-рок или фанк, оказалось, что нет.
Итак, молодая канадская прогрессив-металл-группа. Играют (теперь уже) олд-скульный прогметалл типа ДТ, Раш итд.
К сожалению, о квебекской школе можно только мечтать, ребята играют достаточно прямолинейно, хотя и технично и интересно. Однако, я ожидал не того.

PYRAMID TНEOREM are a progressive metal band from Richmond Нill, Ontario consisting of brothers Stephan Di Mambro (guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Christian Di Mambro (bass) with Sam Ermellini (guitar, vocals) and Vito De Francesco (drums). The band formed in 2006 and is heavily influenced by bands like RUSН, YES, SYMPНONY X, GENESIS, OZZY OZBOURNE and DREAM TНEATER.

They self released an EP "Voyage to the Star" in 2008.
The single "Another Day Slips By" will be available for digital download on June 22, 2012.
Pyramid Theorem released its debut self-titled album Pyramid Theorem on July 10, 2012.

Canada's progressive rock group, Pyramid Theorem, has revealed details about its upcoming debut self-titled album Pyramid Theorem: The album was recorded at Coalition Music in Toronto in 2011 and is produced by the band. Pyramid Theorem consists of 5 tracks that put a modern progressive edge on the classic rock sounds of the 70s, taking you on a musical roller coaster with captivating instrumental epics.
