Вполне себе современная итальянская (фиг угадаешь) спейс-рок/психодели/стонер/сладж-группа.
Группа была организована в Риме музыкантами - любителями перечисленных стилей именно с целью поиграть олд-скул. Поиграли, получилось, так и играют до сих пор.
По музыке, думаю, понятно: Хоквинд + Блэк Саббат в современном звуке.
Любителям стиля - слушать обязательно!

VOID GENERATOR were formed in Rome around 1996 with an initial line-up of five local musicians who had already worked together in previous projects. The declared intention was to share the psychedelic atmosphere of the predecessors in the genre. First they worked out a contribution to a compilation of local bands. Then reduced to a quartet the band spent a long period of musical experimentation in their recording studio called 'The Wizard's Garden'.

Their first self-titled EP came out in 2004, which consists of four tracks and got reviews around the web on various magazines. The second work, titled 'We Нave Found The Space' (2005), features ten songs in a space rock style decorated with stoner and metallic elements, influenced by Нawkwind, Motorpsycho, Monster Magnet or Kyuss to name a few. Furthermore they were invited to offer contributions to diverse sampler and participated at several festivals.

It took some years when VOID GENERATOR produced a new album called 'Phantom Нell And Soar Angelic', released by Phonosphera Records in 2010. This one comprises four lengthy tracks, once more heavy space rock and stoner dominated but also decorated with trippy moments. It was recorded by Gianmarco Iantaffi (guitar, vocals), Sonia Caporossi (bass), Cristiano Lodi (synthesizer) and drummer Marco Cenci. An Italian tour followed the same year in September.
