Захотелось послушать кого-нибудь из молодых.
Итак, молодая группа из США - Королевский Горм. Что такое "горм" не знаю, гугль выкидывает на какую-то популярную компьютерную библиотеку, к музыке отношения не имеющую.
Ребята играют ретро/нео-прог в рамках своей концепции фэнтези - то есть костюмы, имена, тексты, драконы, подземелья всё такое...
Соответственно альбом тоже концептуальный, повествование посторено на том, что кто-то куда-то идёт и кого-то спасает от чего-то. Короче - бродилка - принцип хорошо нам известный по сериалам и играм.
Сама музыка достаточно интересная, совсем почти не "нео-", скорее напоминает NWOBM плюс "кримсон". Треки идут связанными в единую картину, напрягов нет.

I found this album under the New Releases tab on Progarchives a couple months ago and I decided to listen to it after finding the band name and album art work intriguing. I am glad that I gave this album a chance since it really is great! This is King Gorm's debut and this is a impressive debut. This album has a ton of great moments on it. My favorite track on this album is The Which of Irondale but every track is fantastic. The vocals aren't perfect and they are still fine. Some parts in this album sound like Iron Maiden while some parts sound like Yes . This album has a pretty nice variety of sounds. The concept of this album is also very compelling. The concept is a story of four heroes on their quest to save the land of Irondale. I am looking forward to their next release ( crossing my fingers for an epic on their next release! ) overall this is a solid release by King Gorm and I definitely see a very bright future for the band.
