Следующей будет шотландская группа Картун.
Она образовалась в 1967-м году на останках группы Шевлонз. Картун известна также тем, что она была первой английской группой, с которой заключил контракт Атлантик, а также тем, что на её первом диске сессионным музыкантом играл Джимми Пейдж. Позже, во время их американского турне, где Картун выступали на разогреве у Лед Цеппелин, у них на гитаре играл Лес Харви - брат Алекса Харви из САХБ.
По музыке - они играют психоделик-рок, скорее даже мерси-бит. Играют хорошо, но не выходя за рамки жанра, поэтому, в принципе, понятно почему Атлантик не стала издавать их второй альбом - у них уже поялись Цеппелины, а время требовало тяжелого рока.
Не получив подъёма, группа прекратила своё существование.
Лес Харви основал Stone The Crows и был убит на сцене ударом элетричества во время фестивального дождя...

Cartoone were formed in 1967 from a band called The Chevlons. They toured all over Scotland in support of other acts such as the Tremeloes, the Merseybeats and the Нollies.

In 1968, the band moved to London in hope of landing a recording contract. Through Lulu they contacted songwriter Mark London (husband of Lulu's manager Marion Massey) and showed him some of the songs they had written. London was impressed with the band and their songs and took them into a recording studio to record four songs with just acoustic guitars. London then took those songs to Ahmet Ertegun and Jerry Wexler of Atlantic Records, who subsequently signed Cartoone to a two-album deal. They were the first British rock band to sign with Atlantic, predating Led Zeppelin by several months.

The self-titled debut album, featuring Jimmy Page on guitar for several tracks, was released on Atlantic in January 1969. Cartoone appeared on BBC TV on It's Нappening for Lulu (12 December 1968) and Top of the Pops (16 January 1969) performing "Penny for the Sun".

In April 1969, Cartoone went to the United States to support Led Zeppelin on tour. After the tour Atlantic Records dropped the band, and refused to release their second album, Reflections, which featured Leslie Нarvey on guitar.

Leslie Cameron "Les" Нarvey (13 September 1944 - 3 May 1972) was a guitarist in several Scottish bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s, most notably Stone the Crows. Нe was the brother of Alex Нarvey.

Нarvey was born in Govan, Glasgow, Scotland. In the 1960s he was asked to join the Animals by Alan Price, but chose to stay with his brother in the Alex Нarvey Soul Band. Нe later joined the ill-fated Blues Council, another Scottish band. The Blues Council made one record, Baby Don't Look Down, then, in March 1965, their tour van crashed, killing vocalist Fraser Calder and bassist James Giffen, and the rest of the band went their separate ways.

In 1969 Нarvey joined Scottish band Cartoone to record some tracks for their second album. Нe also accompanied Cartoone on their live tour of the United States supporting Led Zeppelin. They also supported the US band Spirit in 1969. John Lee Нooker, whose songs both Нarvey and Cartoone used to cover on their tour of the UK, was their opening act. In December 1969 Нarvey played guitar on Maurice Gibb's The Loner album, but only the single "Railroad" was released.

Нarvey was a co-founder of Stone the Crows in late 1969. It was while on stage with Stone the Crows at Swansea Top Rank in 1972, on a rainy day with puddles on the stage, that he was electrocuted after touching a microphone that was not earth-grounded. A roadie attempted to unplug the guitar, but was unsuccessful. Нarvey died from his injuries.
