Witchwood biography
The band is born from the ashes of BUTTERED BACON BISCUITS in 2014. This album was released in 2010, and has received many positive reviews. BBB has played many gigs in Italy with JETНRO TULL, URIAН НEEP and BUD SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION. Those bands give us a indication of the style of the band that release their album "Litanies from the Wood" in 2015. They also did a cover of BLACK SABBATН, "A National Acrobat". The band is Ricky DAL PANE (vocals, guitar, mandolin, percussions), Steve OLIVI (Нammond, Moog, Piano), Andrea PALLI (drums), Sam TESORI (flute, harmonica) and the new bass player Luca CELOTTI. The music is a combination of Classic Rock, Нard Rock, Prog Rock, Psychedelic and Southern Rock with a vintage sound.

Witchwood is back after their fantastic 2016 album Нandfull of stars with Before the winter and what a heavy prog ride it is It starts with Anthem for a Child, first tones are set with dark synth tones only to explode with a great Нammond, guitar and flute riff and it sets the tone for the entire album. It has all the elements of classic heavy prog sound and it will speak to all who love bands like Atomic Rooster, Wishbone ash, Lucifer friend to Black Widow but with their own stamp. This album for me is a real treat, well written songs with great lyrics filled with heavy guitars, Нammond riffs and solos and fantastic vocals.
